Purpose:
Edge Industrial Staffing is hiring Material Handlers / Forklift Drivers to support a new distribution center opening in Whiteland, IN.
Essential Duties:
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 6pm-2:30am
- Operate Sit-down, Stand Up forklifts to move, load, and stage materials
- Assist with warehouse setup, including installing racking, production lines, and organizing inventory locations
- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment as operations ramp up
- Accurately scan and track inventory using RF scanners
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Follow all safety, quality, and GMP guidelines as implemented
- Meet productivity, accuracy, and attendance expectations
Skill, Education, and Experience Requirements:
- Forklift experience required (sit-down propane)
- Comfortable working in a startup / build-out warehouse environment
- Willingness to follow GMP standards as the facility transitions
- Steel-toe footwear required
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Purpose:
Edge Industrial Staffing is currently hiring a quality tester for a local client in the Downtown IN area.
Essential Duties:
- Support creation and revisions of documentation (SOPs, inspection instructions, data collection tools, etc.)
- Assist in development of Quality and Operations-related inspections
- Fill in for Quality operations resources as needed to cover breaks or absences (cross-training required)
- Collaborate in troubleshooting and root cause investigations (data collection, feedback, analysis)
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and adjustments
- Become proficient in production and inspection gauges (training provided)
- Support material control activities, including non-conforming material and hold disposition processes
- Assist in development of training plans for Quality inspectors and production staff (training matrix development)
- Inspect materials with understanding of specifications and quality requirements
- Perform quality testing as needed with training support
- Identify defects and ensure proper procedure adherence for resolution
- Document and report quality issues while maintaining inspection and compliance records
- Potential participation in internal audits (work instructions, SOP compliance, etc.)

Essential Duties:

The purpose of this role is to efficiently and safely handle warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and moving inventory, while maintaining accuracy, quality, and a positive client-focused environment.
Essential Duties:
- Operate all equipment, machinery, forklifts, etc., in an efficient, safe, and productive manner;
- Hours 1st Shift (Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm) 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday 12pm-8:30pm)
• Work according to Client orders and specifications;
• Meet established quality and productivity metrics;
• Make daily checks and provide basic maintenance on machines as assigned;
• Keep work areas neat and clean;
• Receive inventory and enter into system;
• Greet driver, have them sign in, give door assignment;
• Confirm appointment is on the receiving calendar (when applicable);
• Verify and break truck seal when applicable;
• Unload trucks with no damage to goods, using proper equipment;
• Physically check incoming loads against packing lists;
