Purpose:

Edge Industrial Staffing is currently hiring a quality tester for a local client in the Lebanon IN area.

Essential Duties:

• Safely welds to apply balance weights to blower wheels and props to meet company standard
• Testing fan units using dynamic testing equipment
• Completes daily test reports
• Assembles products, if required
• Performs electrical wiring as instructed
• Performs quality checks and quality testing on fan specifications
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow standard safety practices and regulations.
• Cross-training and knowledge sharing with peers.
• Other duties as assigned

Skill, Education, and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must understand vibration and balance fundamentals
• Mechanical aptitude to use electronic balancing/testing equipment
• Must be able to interpret blueprints, bills of materials, and order specifications
• Must have product knowledge and work independently and train others if requested

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 60lbs
